Baieido Traditional Japanese Incense
Traditional Bayido Japanese Incense with Herbs and Wood
The Chinese origin of Japanese incense is perfectly present in the incenses in this category. Mainly based on Chinese herbal notes, more or less pronounced, they all contain sandalwood and are sometimes (Kai Un Koh, Kaden or Tokusen for example) with added agarwood, of different qualities or origins (Indonesia, Vietnam...)
The different versions of Kobunboku
The most famous product of the brand is Kobunboku. A blend of powerful Chinese herbs and sandalwood. The others are variations, agarwood for Tokusen (or Excellent Kobunboku) and Kaden, smokeless variant for Jinkoh Kobunboku, cinnamon for Bikou or Sawayaka. Also worth noting is the presence of the "lucky" incense Kai Un Koh, with its woody and spicy notes due to the presence of agarwood from Vietnam.
Most of the traditional incenses are available in boxes of different sizes as well as in long (or even extra-long) versions for four of them.
