Small Abalone Shells 15 to 18 cm
Abalone shells are marine molluscs that are fished mainly in Europe and Asia for the consumption of their meat.
They are found almost everywhere in the world. The inside of their shells is lined with mother-of-pearl.
These shells are used as incense burners by many indigenous tribes in North America.
These very large Abalone shells (up to 18cm long) are very practical for burning white sage sticks, bundles of plants (yerba santa, black or blue sage, etc.) and palo santo sticks.
Note that these natural incense burners are fragile and cannot withstand the heat of a charcoal tablet.
You can also use these shells to hold jewellery, rings or small objects.
