Small Mica plates (Gin-yo), circled with a welded steel wire, made in Japan, essential item for the incense ceremony in Japan, the Kōdō (the path of incense).
Kodo is one of the highly codified arts in Japan, along with Ikébana or the tea ceremony. It uses many accessories including these Mica plates, white ash and special charcoal tablets.
