Nepalese Rope Incense – Traditional Incense from Kathmandu (22)
Nepalese rope incense is one of the oldest and most distinctive forms of incense from the Kathmandu Valley — hand-rolled from powders of wood, plants and resins into a sheet of traditional Lokta paper, for meditation, room scenting and spiritual practice.

How to use Nepalese rope incense
Hold a flame briefly to the tip of the rope, then gently blow it out after a few seconds — it will smoulder steadily from there. Use a stable, heatproof holder that fully catches the ash. Burning time varies depending on the length of the rope.
Nepalese rope incense also makes an original and meaningful gift for anyone who loves meditation, Himalayan traditions and authentic incense.
