HA KO leaves come in white and black, across several fragrance families inspired by Japanese nature. Each box includes a heatproof felt mat for burning:

How to use HA KO incense paper – a simple ritual for relaxation and scenting a room

Take a leaf from the box, light the tip briefly and blow out the flame immediately – the leaf will then smoulder gently for five to seven minutes on the included felt mat or a heatproof dish. The fragrance lingers in the room well after the burn ends. Used unlit, the leaves release their scent for weeks when placed in a drawer or between the pages of a book.
