Incense Papers – Scented Paper Strips Made in France (14)
Incense papers are a discreet, low-smoke alternative to traditional incense sticks – booklets of scented paper strips, made in France, that smoulder gently to fragrance a room in just a few minutes with a fine, lasting perfume.
Classic range and religious series – frankincense, patchouli, palo santo and more
The collection is divided into two main lines, suited to different uses and sensibilities.
Classic range – Tried-and-tested compositions based on natural resins, woods and plant extracts: patchouli, benzoin, dragon's blood, nag champa, white sage and palo santo. Ideal for meditation, everyday wellbeing or neutralising cooking and household odours.
Religious series – Fragrances inspired by the tradition of sacred incense: Pontifical (liturgical incense), Saint-Michel, Marie qui défait les nœuds, Sainte-Rita and Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Blended from frankincense, myrrh, ground sandalwood and essential oils – for moments of quiet reflection or spiritual ritual.
Craftsmanship – Each booklet is the result of a six-month process: natural resins and extracts are infused into the paper fibres, then dried under controlled conditions. The result is an even, long-lasting release of fragrance as the paper smoulders.
How to use incense papers – simple, low-smoke, no accessories needed
Tear a strip along the perforation and fold it accordion-style. Light one edge for no more than two seconds, then gently blow out the flame. Lay the strip flat on a heat-resistant surface – ceramic, metal or stone: it will smoulder for around two to three minutes, fragrancing the room quietly and evenly throughout.
These incense papers make a delicate and original gift for anyone who loves natural fragrances and enjoys bringing a quiet moment of wellbeing into their daily life.
