Srinivas – Indian Incense Sticks by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (5)
Srinivas is a special series of Indian incense sticks by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (BNG) LLP in Bangalore – five hand-rolled blends in the classic Masala tradition, created as a tribute to the roots of a family business that has been crafting incense since 1964.
Five Masala blends – craft and tradition in one series
The Srinivas collection is deliberately focused on five carefully developed fragrance blends, each available in a practical 15g box:
Traditional Masala craft – every incense stick is hand-rolled following ancestral recipes, using botanicals, resin incense and essential oils, with no chemical accelerants or synthetic binders.
Five distinct blends – the series covers five independent fragrance directions, suited to different moods and rituals, from quiet meditation to simply scenting a room.
15g format – each box contains around 12 sticks, ideal for discovering and comparing the different lines within this special series.
A tribute to the origins – the collection draws directly from the historical recipes of classical Indian incense craft and reflects the artisanal heritage passed down within the founding family.
How to use Srinivas incense sticks – for meditation and wellbeing
Place the incense stick in a sturdy holder made of ceramic, stone or metal that can safely catch the ash. Light the tip briefly and gently blow out the flame – the stick will then burn quietly for 35 to 45 minutes. Plenty of time for a meditation session, a yoga practice, or a mindful moment of stillness during the day.
The Srinivas series makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates Indian incense in its most artisanal form.
