Nippon Kodo Ka-Fuh – Japanese Incense with Floral Scents (4)
Ka-Fuh — "the scent of flowers carried by the wind" — is Nippon Kodo's signature floral and botanical range: Japanese incense that translates the natural aromas of Japan's landscapes into daily moments of meditation, relaxation and wellbeing.
Japanese incense for meditation, wellbeing and scenting your home
The collection offers six floral and botanical references, each dedicated to a natural element of Japan:
White Plum — A delicate floral aroma inspired by Japanese plum blossoms. Light, fresh and evocative of spring.
Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) — The range's most iconic reference. Woody, fresh and lightly resinous — evoking Japan's cypress forests and traditional temples.
Bamboo — Fresh and green with citrus-botanical accents. A light, invigorating atmosphere for everyday use.
Lavender — A Japanese interpretation of lavender — softer and more airy than Western versions. Soothing herbal and floral notes for quiet moments.
Lotus — Floral, softly powdery and calming. Inspired by the sacred lotus flower, a symbol of purity across many Asian traditions.
Daphne — A delicate spring floral, lightly sweet and bright — evoking the first blooms of the year.
How to use Ka-Fuh Japanese incense sticks
Hold a flame briefly to the tip of the stick, then gently blow it out after a few seconds — the incense will smoulder steadily from there. Place it in a stable holder made of ceramic, stone or metal to catch the ash. A typical stick burns for 25 to 35 minutes.
Ka-Fuh also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Japanese incense, meditation and the natural scents of Japan.
