Nippon Kodo Morning Star – Japanese Incense Sticks (27)
Nippon Kodo Morning Star Japanese incense sticks have accompanied millions of people in their daily lives since the 1960s – one of the most recognised incense series in the world, with over 20 scents for meditation, relaxation and the small rituals of the day.
Woods, florals, spices and fresh notes – over 20 scents for meditation and wellbeing
Morning Star is available in boxes of 50 sticks with a ceramic holder, or in boxes of 200 sticks. Each stick burns for around 25 to 30 minutes – enough for a meditation session, a yoga class or a quiet hour at home. The range is divided into four families:
Woods and resins – Sandalwood, cedar, palo santo, Frankincense, Myrrh and amber. Grounded, warm and timeless – classic Japanese incense for meditation and quiet moments.
Florals – Jasmine, rose, gardenia, lily, lotus, lavender and iris. Fresh, clear and floral – for a bright, welcoming atmosphere in any room.
Spices and oriental notes – Patchouli, vanilla and musk. Soft, warm and enveloping – for relaxed evenings and moments of wellbeing.
Fresh and contemporary scents – Green tea, yuzu, sage, mint and pine. Light and invigorating – suited to any moment of the day, including smaller spaces.
How to use Morning Star – Japanese incense for meditation and daily life
Place a stick in the included ceramic holder or any other sturdy holder. Light the tip, let it burn for two to three seconds, then gently blow out the flame – the stick smoulders on its own and fragrances the room evenly throughout. Morning Star works equally well for daily use and for more intentional rituals.
Morning Star makes a reliable gift for anyone discovering Japanese incense, and a trusted companion for those who want to bring a little more calm and wellbeing into their everyday life.
