Shoyeido Overtones Cinnamon Incense Sticks – 35 Sticks

Shoyeido Overtones Cinnamon is a Japanese incense that places the warm, spicy character of cinnamon at the heart of its composition. Shoyeido's Overtones range focuses on a particular aromatic ingredient in each variety, combining its clearly recognisable fragrance with the refined, balanced style of Japanese incense sticks.

The composition is based on sandalwood, cinnamon, benzoin and spices. Cinnamon shapes the fragrance with its warm, lively spiciness, while sandalwood provides a soft, woody foundation. Benzoin complements the blend with a gentler, balsamic note. The result is a rich, warm and spicy fragrance with a pleasantly sweet nuance.

Cinnamon in the Overtones Range

Overtones Cinnamon is part of a range in which Shoyeido deliberately brings familiar aromatic materials to the forefront. Alongside Cinnamon, the range includes Sandalwood, Vanilla, Frankincense, Tea Leaves, Palo Santo and Patchouli. Each variety therefore has its own clearly recognisable fragrance profile while retaining the subtle character of Japanese incense.

According to Shoyeido, the Overtones Cinnamon formula is one of the house's older compositions. The incense sticks are made in Japan without synthetic fragrance oils, synthetic binders or artificial fragrances.

Each pack contains 35 incense sticks measuring 22 cm in length. Each stick has a burning time of approximately 50 minutes.
