Product description

Baieido Hanasayaka Less Smoke (花さやか 煙ひかえめ) are low-smoke Japanese incense sticks with a gentle, fresh floral bouquet. This fragrance composition by the long-established manufacturer Baieido combines carnation, rose, violet and daffodil to create a delicate, harmonious floral fragrance. This version is characterised by reduced smoke production and is available in 10 g and 170 g packs.

Hanasayaka – A delicate fragrance combining four floral notes

The fragrance of Hanasayaka is reminiscent of a fresh bouquet of flowers. At its heart is carnation, whose characteristic floral note is accompanied by rose, violet and daffodil.

Rose adds a soft, floral nuance to the bouquet, while violet and daffodil contribute to the complexity of the composition. The result is a light, balanced fragrance in which the different floral notes blend harmoniously.

The carnation mentioned by the manufacturer refers to the flower, not the spice clove. The flowers listed describe the fragrance profile of the incense sticks. It is not documented whether actual flowers or essential oils extracted from them are used.

The low-smoke version of Hanasayaka

Baieido offers Hanasayaka in two versions: classic incense sticks with normal smoke production and Hanasayaka Less Smoke with reduced smoke production.

The variety offered here is the low-smoke version. When burning, it produces less visible smoke than the classic version. However, the designation "Less Smoke" does not mean that the sticks burn completely without producing smoke.

Both versions share the same floral fragrance theme. Hanasayaka Less Smoke combines this gentle floral bouquet with reduced smoke production, making it particularly suitable for enthusiasts of subtle Japanese floral fragrances.

Japanese incense craftsmanship by Baieido

Baieido is one of the long-established Japanese incense manufacturers based in Sakai. Alongside classic compositions featuring sandalwood, agarwood and spices, its range also includes modern incense sticks with floral and botanically inspired fragrances.

Hanasayaka is one of these floral fragrance creations. The violet-pink packaging with stylised floral motifs emphasises the delicate character of the composition. The manufacturer does not disclose the complete formula or the aromatic raw materials used in detail.
