Baieido Imagine Green Tea – Japanese Incense Sticks 40 Sticks

Baieido Imagine Green Tea are Japanese incense sticks with a gentle green tea fragrance. This composition from the Imagine range by the long-established manufacturer Baieido contains real green tea from the Japanese tea producer ITO EN. It combines the fragrance of freshly brewed tea with reduced smoke production. The pack contains approximately 40 incense sticks and a small incense holder.

Green Tea – The gentle fragrance of green tea

The fragrance of Imagine Green Tea evokes a freshly prepared cup of Japanese green tea. A mild, clean tea note takes centre stage, capturing the characteristic aroma of the infusion without relying on intense floral or spicy accents.

Green tea has a long cultural tradition in Japan. It is enjoyed both as an everyday drink and as part of the Japanese tea ceremony, known as Chadō. Baieido's fragrance composition draws on this familiar aspect of Japanese tea culture and interprets it as incense.

With real green tea from ITO EN

A distinctive feature of these incense sticks is the use of real green tea from the Japanese manufacturer ITO EN. According to the manufacturer, the tea is incorporated directly into the incense mixture. This feature is explicitly highlighted on the packaging with the statement «Blended with pure ITO EN green tea».

This distinguishes Imagine Green Tea from incense sticks whose fragrance merely resembles green tea. However, the complete composition of the incense mixture is not documented, so no additional ingredients can be reliably identified.

The Imagine range by Baieido

The Imagine range includes various Japanese incense sticks with fragrances inspired by nature and familiar everyday experiences. Alongside floral and woody fragrances, the collection also offers distinctive compositions such as Green Tea.

The colourful cardboard box, decorated with floral motifs and Japanese characters, emphasises the connection with Japanese culture. Imagine Green Tea is one of the low-smoke varieties in the range and produces less smoke when burning than conventional incense sticks. This does not mean that burning is completely smoke-free.

40 incense sticks with holder

The pack contains approximately 40 incense sticks with a total weight of around 20 g. The sticks measure approximately 13.5 cm in length and have a burning time of around 30 minutes.

A small incense holder is included. This also makes the pack suitable for discovering Japanese incense sticks or as a small gift for enthusiasts of tea fragrances.
