Baieido Kaden Kobunboku – Long Incense Sticks 24 cm / 75 g

Vietnamese agarwood and Indian sandalwood

Baieido uses agarwood from Vietnam and sandalwood from India for Kaden Kobunboku. These are complemented by cassia, star anise, patchouli and clove, along with other aromatic ingredients that are not individually specified. The combination of the two woods with traditional spices creates a complex composition whose character is shaped by the blend, proportions and quality of the raw materials used.

The fragrance of Kaden Kobunboku is woody, warm, spicy and aromatic. Kaden – a traditional Baieido composition passed down through the family

The name Kaden refers to a tradition or formula handed down within the family. Kaden Kobunboku belongs to Baieido's Kobunboku tradition, but the use of Vietnamese agarwood and the particular balance of its aromatic ingredients give it a distinctive character of its own.

Several of the known ingredients are also found in other traditional agarwood compositions by Baieido. What matters are the subtle differences in blending proportions, origin and quality of the woods used, which give each of these incenses its own fragrance profile.

This version of Kaden Kobunboku consists of 24 cm long incense sticks. Thanks to the longer format, the burn time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes per stick. The pack contains a total of 75 g of incense.
