Baieido Kai Un Koh – Japanese Incense Sticks 37 g

Kai Un Koh by Baieido is a traditional Japanese incense with a distinctive spicy and woody fragrance. This classic version contains incense sticks approximately 14 cm long with a square cross-section and is offered in a 37 g pack.

Indian sandalwood and Vietnamese agarwood

The traditional fragrance composition combines Indian sandalwood with Vietnamese agarwood. The aromatic woods are complemented by cassia, star anise, patchouli and clove, along with other ingredients that are not individually specified.

As a result, Kai Un Koh has a warm, distinctly spicy and woody fragrance character. The sandalwood base is complemented by the deeper woody note of Vietnamese agarwood, while the spices and aromatic plants give the composition its characteristic complexity. Baieido does not specify the complete formula or the exact proportions of the blend.

Kai Un Koh – a Baieido classic

The name Kai Un can be interpreted approximately as “good fortune” or “a favourable turn”. The incense is one of Baieido’s classic spicy compositions and combines aromatic woods with a traditional blend of spices and plants.

As with several of the manufacturer’s traditional incenses, sandalwood, agarwood and several classic spice notes are also found here. Kai Un Koh’s distinctive character comes from the particular balance of these ingredients and the woods used.

Square incense sticks in three lengths

One distinctive feature of Kai Un Koh is the square cross-section of the incense sticks. In this classic version, the sticks are approximately 14 cm long and have a cross-section of about 3 mm. The pack contains a total of 37 g of incense.

Kai Un Koh is available in several formats. In addition to this classic version, there is a long version measuring 24 cm as well as Kai Un Daikunkoh with 34 cm long incense sticks.

Note: Depending on the shipment, this 37 g version is supplied either in flat packaging or in packaging with a paper roll. Both versions contain the same incense and the same net quantity.
