Product description

Shukohkoku by Baieido is a traditionally composed Japanese incense from Osaka. The recipe combines Indian sandalwood and Vietnamese agarwood with cassia, star anise, patchouli, clove and other ingredients. This combination of aromatic woods and spices is characteristic of the complex style of classic Baieido incense sticks.

Shukohkoku has a warm, woody and spicy fragrance. Sandalwood forms a soft woody foundation, while agarwood adds greater depth to the composition. Cassia, star anise and clove provide distinctly spicy accents, complemented by the earthy note of patchouli.

Shukohkoku, Syukohkoku or Shu Koh Koku?

Japanese incense product names can be written differently depending on the romanisation system used. Shukohkoku, Syukohkoku and Shu Koh Koku all refer to the same incense by Baieido.

Shukohkoku is also available in other formats, including longer and extra-long incense sticks. The incense composition remains the same, while the length and packaging vary depending on the version.
