Tobiume by Baieido is a traditional Japanese incense with a complex composition of fine woods, spices and aromatic plants. Made in Japan, it combines Indonesian agarwood with Indian sandalwood and a carefully balanced selection of aromatic spices.
The composition contains agarwood from Indonesia, sandalwood from India, cassia, star anise, patchouli and cloves. The agarwood gives the composition a deep, distinctive woody note, while the sandalwood provides a warm and softer foundation. Cassia and cloves add spicy accents, star anise contributes an aromatic, slightly sweet facet, and patchouli brings an earthy, balsamic nuance. Together, they create a warm, complex and spicy-woody fragrance with a pleasing depth.
Japanese Incense by Baieido
Baieido is one of Japan's long-established incense manufacturers. Tobiume is particularly suited to lovers of classic Japanese fragrance compositions in which agarwood and sandalwood do not stand alone, but are blended with spices and aromatic plants to create a balanced overall fragrance.
The incense sticks are approximately 13.5 cm long and come in a pack containing 45 g. As is typical of Japanese incense sticks, they are placed in a suitable incense holder or incense ash for burning.
