Product description
This 13 cm high church censer made of polished brass is designed for use on an altar, table or another suitable heat-resistant surface. Unlike censers with long chains, this compact model is placed on a surface during incense burning. The ornate lid is crowned with a prominent cross.
The vessel is particularly suitable for traditionally burning pure frankincense and frankincense blends over charcoal. Cross-shaped openings in the vessel and lid provide air circulation and allow the frankincense smoke to escape.
Standing censer for frankincense
For incense burning, a glowing charcoal tablet is placed inside the censer. Small amounts of pure frankincense or a frankincense blend can then be placed on top. This type of incense vessel is inspired by the traditional use of frankincense in Christian and liturgical settings.
Its standing design distinguishes this model from traditional swinging church censers with chains. The wide base provides a stable surface, while the removable lid encloses the incense material and allows the smoke to escape through its openings.

Instructions for safe use
Place the censer on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface when burning incense. The glowing charcoal can cause the vessel and lid to become very hot. Do not touch with bare hands during or immediately after use, and never leave glowing incense charcoal unattended. Allow the censer to cool completely before moving or cleaning it.
