This compact brass tealight incense burner allows incense to be gently heated using a tealight. The incense material is placed in the upper dish and slowly warmed by the candle underneath.
This method is particularly suitable for incense resins and incense blends when a more subtle fragrance is desired. Unlike traditional incense burning over glowing charcoal, the incense material is heated more gently by the warmth of the tealight. As a result, the fragrance generally develops more slowly and with considerably less smoke.
Heating incense with a tealight
Place a tealight in the lower holder and light it. Then add a small amount of incense material to the upper dish. It is best to start with a small quantity and add a little more if required.
