Nippon Kodo Cho Cho San – 36 Japanese Incense Cones

Cho Cho San by Nippon Kodo is a Japanese incense cone assortment featuring four different fragrances: pine, cherry, kyara and sandalwood. The decorative box contains a total of 36 incense cones and a small incense holder.

The packaging depicts a Japanese woman in a traditional kimono against the backdrop of snow-covered Mount Fuji. The colourful design and selection of fragrances make Cho Cho San a lovely gift and an opportunity to discover different Japanese fragrance compositions.

Four Japanese fragrances

The assortment includes four fragrance varieties, each with nine incense cones. Each fragrance has its own colour:

• Pine – 9 green incense cones: A fresh, green and woody fragrance reminiscent of the aromatic atmosphere of a pine forest.
• Cherry – 9 red incense cones: A fruity, slightly sweet fragrance composition with the character of ripe cherries.
• Kyara – 9 violet incense cones: A warm, deep and complex fragrance inspired by the characteristic aroma of precious kyara agarwood.
• Sandalwood – 9 yellowish-brown incense cones: A soft, warm and woody fragrance with the characteristic note of sandalwood.

The four varieties offer a varied introduction to different fragrance worlds, from fresh and fruity notes to traditional Japanese woody fragrance compositions.

Japanese incense cones with a short burning time

The cone-shaped incense measures approximately 2 cm in height and has a diameter of around 9 mm. Each cone burns for approximately 10 minutes, making it suitable for shorter incense-burning sessions.

A small incense holder is included in the assortment. Place it on a sufficiently large, fireproof surface, position an incense cone on the holder and light its tip. Once the tip is glowing, gently blow out the flame and allow the fragrance to unfold.
