Copper Incense Pan with Wooden Handle – Ø 8 cm

This copper incense pan with wooden handle is a compact incense vessel for traditional incense burning over charcoal. The vessel has a diameter of approximately 8 cm and stands on three small feet. The wooden handle on the side allows the incense pan to be picked up and moved during use.

The domed lid has a large grid-shaped opening through which the incense smoke can escape. The dark copper finish and wooden handle give this model a distinctly different character from polished brass incense pans.

For frankincense and incense blends over charcoal

The incense pan is particularly suitable for burning pure frankincense and incense blends over charcoal tablets. This type of incense vessel is inspired by traditional church incense burners, while the side handle provides a practical way to distribute the rising frankincense smoke throughout the room during incense burning.

A fully glowing charcoal tablet is placed inside the vessel and sprinkled with a small amount of frankincense or incense blend. The lid is then fitted so that the smoke can escape through the grid opening at the top.

Instructions for safe use

Burning incense over charcoal generates high temperatures. Place the incense pan only on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave glowing incense charcoal unattended. The wooden handle makes it easier to pick up the vessel, but the metal parts can become very hot during use. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
