Product description

Fine Lavender BIO AOP is a 100 % pure essential oil from the flowering spikes of Lavandula angustifolia grown under certified organic cultivation in France. Its fragrance is fresh, floral-herbal and clean. Damascena bottles the oil by hand in Switzerland.

French lavender with AOP designation

The bottle label bears the protected designation of origin AOP. This identifies the geographical origin and production in accordance with the requirements of the French designation of origin. Alongside its organic quality, this fine lavender therefore carries an additional designation of origin.

Steam distillation of the flowering spikes

The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering spikes. According to the manufacturer, approximately 120 kg of flowering spikes are needed to produce 1 kg of oil.

A fresh, floral-herbal fragrance

Fine lavender combines a floral note with a clear, herbal character. Its fragrance recalls flowering lavender fields and classic linen scents. In fragrance compositions, it is classified as a heart note.

Fragrance combinations

Grapefruit and bergamot complement lavender with citrus notes. Other suitable fragrance partners are chamomile, palmarosa, rosewood and linaloe wood.
