Product description

Golden Nag Chandan by Vijayshree Fragrance are traditional Indian masala incense sticks from Bangalore with a pronounced sandalwood fragrance. This variety is part of the well-known Golden Nag range and is particularly suited to those who enjoy warm, woody and classically Indian incense fragrances.

The word Chandan refers to sandalwood in India and is closely associated with the country’s traditional fragrance and incense culture. Its characteristic aroma is perceived as warm, smooth, creamy and woody. In a rich masala incense stick such as Golden Nag Chandan, this character develops into a particularly full and room-filling fragrance.

Fragrance profile

Warm, woody and smooth, with the characteristic creamy fragrance of sandalwood. The composition is rounded and distinctly noticeable, with the rich, traditional character of Indian masala incense sticks.

Sandalwood in the Indian incense tradition

Sandalwood has held particular significance in India for centuries as a fragrance and incense material. It is traditionally used in religious ceremonies, meditation and for fragrancing indoor spaces. Golden Nag Chandan interprets this classic fragrance theme in the form of a modern Indian masala incense stick.

The incense sticks are suitable for everyday home fragrancing as well as for use during meditation, yoga or other quiet moments. Due to their pronounced fragrance, they are recommended for use in well-ventilated rooms.
