This traditional incense is produced on Mount Athos in Greece. It is made from high-quality frankincense resin from Boswellia papyrifera from Ethiopia, refined with an elegant Night Flower fragrance composition. Mount Athos is an autonomous monastic republic in northern Greece and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Orthodox monks live on the peninsula in around twenty monasteries belonging to different traditions.
