How to Burn

The dried needles and small twigs can be burned in different ways. For traditional incense burning, place a small amount on a glowing charcoal disc. Alternatively, the plant material can be slowly heated and allowed to smoulder on an incense burner fitted with a mesh screen.

Larger pieces of twig can also be briefly lit directly. Blow out the flame afterwards and place the smouldering material in a fireproof bowl. Always use a heat-resistant surface and never leave smouldering incense unattended.
