Jinkoh – Meditation from the Incense for Well Being series is a Japanese incense by Kunjudo with a deep and refined woody fragrance. At the heart of the composition is Jinkoh, the Japanese term for agarwood, one of the particularly prized aromatic woods of Japanese incense culture.
The Well Being series is made by Kunjudo in Japan and combines Japanese incense craftsmanship with fragrance compositions specifically developed for the European market. Within the series, Jinkoh represents Meditation and is designed as a calm, wood-focused fragrance.
Jinkoh – the deep fragrance of agarwood
The fragrance character of this variant is inspired by Jinkoh, or agarwood. Compared with the softer warmth of Sandalwood or the drier, balsamic character of Cedar, Jinkoh has a deeper and more complex woody profile. This makes the variant particularly appealing to enthusiasts of classic Japanese woody fragrances.
Jinkoh and Japanese incense culture
Agarwood has held a special place in Japanese incense culture for centuries. Its fragrance is traditionally appreciated in various forms of mindful incense burning. The term Jinkoh is used in Japan for resinous, aromatic agarwood and therefore also appears in numerous traditional Japanese incense compositions.
With green tea extract against unpleasant odours
Like the other incense sticks in the Incense for Well Being series, Jinkoh also contains green tea extract. This ingredient is used for its odour-neutralising properties and complements the fragrance released into the room.
30 Japanese incense sticks
One pack contains 30 incense sticks. Each stick burns for approximately 30 minutes. The incense sticks are made by Kunjudo in Japan for Les Encens du Monde.
To use, light the tip of a stick and then blow out the flame. Place the glowing incense stick in a suitable incense holder and use it on a fire-resistant surface.
