This Ispalla Palo Santo Incense Stick Assortment brings together all six varieties in the series in one set. Alongside pure Palo Santo, it includes two combinations with traditional incense resins and three varieties with aromatic plants. The incense sticks are handmade in Peru.
According to the manufacturer, the Palo Santo used comes from wood that has fallen naturally to the ground. No trees are therefore cut down for their production. The manufacturer also states that the incense sticks have official certification from the Peruvian authorities relating to the sustainable use of natural Palo Santo populations.
The six Ispalla Palo Santo varieties
The assortment offers different interpretations of the warm, woody and slightly balsamic character of Palo Santo:
-
Palo Santo: the original variety with the characteristic warm and woody fragrance of Palo Santo.
-
Palo Santo & Myrrh: combines the aromatic wood with the deeper, resinous and spicy notes of myrrh.
-
Palo Santo & Copal: complements Palo Santo with the brighter, resinous character of copal.
-
Palo Santo & Eucalyptus: a fresh, green and aromatic combination that provides a distinct contrast to the warm woody notes.
-
Palo Santo & Rosemary: combines Palo Santo with fresh, spicy and distinctly herbal notes.
-
Palo Santo & Rue: a more distinctive plant combination with a green, herbal and slightly bitter character.
The assortment therefore makes it possible to compare the entire series directly: from the pure Palo Santo fragrance and the resin-focused varieties with copal and myrrh to the fresher, more herbal combinations with eucalyptus, rosemary and rue.
Handmade in Peru
The Ispalla incense sticks are hand-rolled in Peru. The assortment contains 6 boxes with 10 incense sticks each, for a total of 60 sticks. The burning time is approximately 30 min per stick.
How to use
