Product description

Karin by Kunjudo combines the warm scent of sandalwood with a soft, sweet and contemporary fragrance composition. This 150 g box contains the same Karin blend as the smaller versions and offers a generous format for anyone who regularly enjoys this Japanese sandalwood fragrance.

Sandalwood between tradition and modernity

Kunjudo deliberately gives the classic sandalwood scent a modern interpretation in Karin. The warm, woody sandalwood base is rounded out with fragrances that give the composition its mild and gently sweet character. The aromatic wood remains clearly recognisable, without making Karin feel like a purely traditional sandalwood incense.

Design inspired by Heian court culture

The combination of Japanese tradition and contemporary design is also reflected in the packaging. Its design draws on the aesthetics of Heian court culture and combines this historical inspiration with Karin's modern fragrance concept.

Tabu bark powder, sandalwood and fragrances

Kunjudo lists Tabu bark powder, sandalwood and fragrances as the ingredients. Tabu bark powder is traditionally used as a plant-based foundation for Japanese incense sticks. According to the manufacturer, aloeswood or agarwood is not among the listed ingredients of this Karin composition.

150 g large box

The box contains approx. 150 g of Japanese incense sticks. They are approximately 13.5 cm long and each burns for around 25 minutes. Kunjudo classifies the amount of smoke as normal.

To use, light the tip of an incense stick and then blow out the flame. Place the glowing stick in a suitable incense holder and use it on a fire-resistant surface.
