Product description

Karin-Zuito by Kunjudo is a distinctive Japanese incense based on agarwood. This generous 150 g format is particularly well suited to those who appreciate the fragrance and for regular incense burning. Karin-Zuito is made on Awaji Island in Japan, a region with a long tradition of Japanese incense production.

At the heart of the composition is Siamese agarwood, whose pronounced and lasting fragrance defines the distinctive character of Karin-Zuito. Kunjudo combines the agarwood with refined natural aromas of Western influence. The result is an unusual composition in which the depth of traditional Japanese incense materials is combined with lighter and more delicate fragrance accents.

Fragrance Profile

Karin-Zuito has an intense, spicy fragrance with a distinctive sharpness, yet it also reveals a surprisingly delicate side. According to Kunjudo's description, this characteristic sharpness is a key feature of the composition and conveys the impression of a luxurious incense.

Kunjudo's fragrance compositions also traditionally draw on Chinese-influenced herbs and aromatic materials. In Karin-Zuito, this spicy character is complemented by lighter fragrance facets, so despite its intensity, the incense does not feel exclusively heavy.

Large 150 g Pack

This version contains 150 g of incense sticks, making it the larger Karin-Zuito format. The individual sticks are approximately 13.5 cm long and have a burning time of around 25 minutes. Karin-Zuito is made by Kunjudo Co. Ltd. on Awaji Island in Japan.
