Kunjudo Takara Lavender – Reduced-Smoke Incense Sticks

Takara Lavender by Kunjudo is a Japanese incense with a lavender-like fragrance and comparatively low smoke production. The incense sticks belong to Kunjudo’s environmentally conscious Eco-Takara series and are made in Japan.

For the base, Kunjudo uses cypress and bamboo powder, among other ingredients, as well as aromatic ingredients. Previously unused wood materials from cypress and bamboo processing are also incorporated. In this way, the manufacturer aims to make good use of existing raw materials and make a small contribution to forest conservation.

Lavender fragrance with less smoke

This variety of the Takara series releases a lavender-like fragrance. At the same time, according to Kunjudo, it produces slightly less smoke than conventional incense sticks. Takara Lavender thus combines a floral room fragrance with the characteristic reduced-smoke concept of this series.

Eco Takara – Kunjudo’s environmental concept

Kunjudo describes Eco Takara as an incense series developed with consideration for nature and the environment, using carefully selected raw materials. Part of this concept involves reusing previously unused materials from cypress and bamboo wood.

In addition, since 2009, Kunjudo has donated a portion of the revenue from Eco-Takara products to the Setouchi Olive Fund, supporting nature and plant conservation activities.
