Kunjudo Washi Incense No. 2 – Japanese Incense Paper

Washi Incense No. 2 by Kunjudo is the second of five fragrance variations in this distinctive series of Japanese incense papers. Perfumed washi paper is cut into narrow strips and used like incense: as the paper slowly smoulders, it releases the fragrance composition infused within it.

The individual paper strips feature small English messages such as Sweet Dreams, All the best, Cheer Up!, Deep Breath or Have a lovely day!. Washi Incense thus combines fragrance with a small personal message – and can also be used as an original addition to a letter or gift.

Fragrance profile of Washi Incense No. 2

No. 2 has a distinctly woodier and earthier character than the floral No. 1 variation. The composition combines agarwood, patchouli, vanilla, olibanum and vetiver with additional fragrance notes. Agarwood and vetiver give the fragrance its woody character, patchouli introduces earthy nuances, while vanilla adds a softer, sweeter facet. Olibanum completes the composition with its characteristic resinous accent.

Easy to use Japanese incense paper

To use, place a single paper strip in the supplied stainless steel holder. Briefly light the upper end and then blow out the flame so that the paper slowly smoulders. Place the holder on a suitable heat-resistant surface and do not leave the incense paper unattended.

The perfumed washi strips can also be used without burning. They are suitable, for example, for fragrancing drawers, wardrobes or the car. A strip can also be enclosed with a letter, combining its printed message with the fragrance of the paper.
