Kyara Kongo by Nippon Kodo is a premium Japanese incense centred on the fragrance of kyara. Nippon Kodo describes its character as rich and deep, with pronounced sweetness and elegant aromatic fullness. In traditional Japanese fragrance culture, kyara is regarded as a particularly precious grade of agarwood.

Compact format for a short incense-burning session

Kyara Kongo consists of particularly short Japanese incense sticks measuring approximately 5.7 cm in length. Each stick burns for around 13 minutes when placed upright. The pack contains 24 incense sticks and a small holder.

Nippon Kodo recommends allowing a stick to burn completely approximately 30 minutes before guests arrive or before reading or listening to music. This allows the gentle fragrance lingering in the room afterwards to be particularly appreciated.
