Product description
Mainichi Byakudan by Nippon Kodo is a classic Japanese incense with the characteristic fragrance of Indian sandalwood (Santalum album). In this special version, the incense sticks are presented as a gift set in a Paulownia wood box covered with Washi paper. A small ceramic holder is also included in the set.
Japanese incense with Indian sandalwood
Byakudan (白檀) is the Japanese term for sandalwood. The fragrance of Mainichi Byakudan is therefore distinctly characterised by Indian sandalwood: warm, soft and woody, with the rounded character typical of this classic aromatic wood.
Gift set with 60 incense sticks and holder
The set contains 60 short incense sticks, arranged in three compartments inside the wooden box. A ceramic holder is also included, so the incense can be used straight away. The combination of Paulownia wood and Washi paper also makes this version a beautiful gift idea for enthusiasts of Japanese incense culture.
Short sticks with a burn time of approx. 13 minutes
The short incense sticks have a burn time of approximately 13 minutes each. This format is therefore particularly suitable for shorter incense sessions when you do not want the sandalwood fragrance to diffuse throughout the room for an extended period.
