Nippon Kodo Morning Star Gold Fresh Cedar – 30 Japanese Incense Sticks

Morning Star Gold Fresh Cedar by Nippon Kodo is a Japanese incense with a fresh, woody fragrance reminiscent of cedarwood. This green variety belonged to the Japanese manufacturer's former Morning Star Gold collection.

Fresh Cedar – fresh and woody

Fresh Cedar centres on a clear, fresh woody fragrance. The cedarwood-inspired fragrance is drier and fresher than the warm depth of Classic Aloeswood and differs distinctly from the floral varieties in the series.

The precise composition of this older incense was not disclosed by Nippon Kodo. Cedar is therefore understood as a fragrance profile and not as confirmation that natural cedarwood or cedarwood oil is present in the incense blend.

Part of the former Morning Star Gold collection

Morning Star Gold was a collection comprising five different fragrances: Classic Aloeswood, Fresh Cedar, Spicy Amber, Jasmine Breeze and Romantic Rose. The series therefore included a variety of woody, warm and floral fragrance profiles.

The Japanese incense sticks do not have bamboo cores. When they burn, there is therefore no additional wooden stick burning together with the actual incense blend.

Each pack contains 30 incense sticks as well as a small ceramic holder. The burning time is approximately 25 minutes per stick.
