Morning Star Gold Jasmine Breeze by Nippon Kodo is a Japanese incense with a distinctly floral fragrance centred around jasmine. Jasmine Breeze belonged to the Japanese manufacturer's former Morning Star Gold collection.

Jasmine Breeze – a floral variety in the Morning Star Gold series

The Morning Star Gold collection, which is no longer produced, comprised five different fragrances: Classic Aloeswood, Fresh Cedar, Spicy Amber, Jasmine Breeze and Romantic Rose. The series therefore brought together woody, warm and floral fragrance profiles in a consistent format.

Jasmine Breeze is one of the floral varieties within this selection. The fragrance is clearly centred around jasmine and has a soft, floral character. As Nippon Kodo did not disclose the detailed composition of this older fragrance, jasmine is given here as the fragrance profile rather than as a confirmed botanical ingredient.

Japanese incense sticks without bamboo cores

As is typical of Japanese incense sticks, Morning Star Gold sticks do not have bamboo cores. This means that no additional wooden stick burns together with the actual incense blend.

Each pack contains 30 incense sticks as well as a small ceramic holder. The burning time is approximately 25 minutes per stick.
