Product description

Morning Star Gold Spicy Amber by Nippon Kodo is a Japanese incense with a warm, spicy amber fragrance. This orange variety belonged to Nippon Kodo's former Morning Star Gold collection and represented the warm, spicy counterpart to the woody and floral fragrances in the series.

Spicy Amber – warm and spicy

Spicy Amber centres on a warm amber fragrance with a spicy character. The fragrance is soft, rounded and enveloping, while the spicy facet gives the composition greater depth.

The precise composition of this older incense was not disclosed by Nippon Kodo. Amber therefore refers here to the fragrance profile rather than to a specific natural raw material. The available manufacturer information also does not confirm any individual spices or resins as ingredients.

A former Morning Star Gold variety

The Morning Star Gold collection, which is no longer produced, consisted of five fragrances: Classic Aloeswood, Fresh Cedar, Spicy Amber, Jasmine Breeze and Romantic Rose. The series therefore included woody, spicy and floral fragrance profiles in a consistent format.

The Japanese incense sticks do not have bamboo cores. When they burn, there is therefore no additional wooden stick burning together with the actual incense blend.

Each pack contains 30 incense sticks as well as a small ceramic holder. The burning time is approximately 25 minutes per stick.
