Morning Star Myrrh by Nippon Kodo combines the traditional form of Japanese incense sticks with a warm, spicy myrrh fragrance. The Morning Star range has been part of the Japanese incense manufacturer's collection since the 1960s and is designed for simple, everyday incense burning.
The incense sticks are made in the Japanese style without a bamboo core. As a result, there is no additional smell from a burning wooden stick, allowing the fragrance composition itself to remain more prominent. Compared with many bamboo-core incense sticks, they also produce less smoke.
Fragrance of Morning Star Myrrh
The Myrrh variety has a warm, spicy and slightly sweet fragrance profile. Its aromatic depth recalls the characteristic scent of myrrh while remaining pleasantly accessible as a composed Japanese incense. The fragrance is suitable both for quiet moments at home and as an accompaniment to meditation, yoga or prayer.
How to Use and Burning Time
Light the tip of an incense stick, then gently blow out the flame. The stick will continue to smoulder slowly and release its fragrance. The burning time is approximately 25 minutes per stick.
Morning Star Myrrh is available in packs of 50 or 200 incense sticks. Both sizes include a small ceramic holder, allowing the sticks to be used straight away.
