Nippon Kodo Morning Star Pine – Japanese Incense Sticks

Morning Star Pine by Nippon Kodo combines the traditional form of Japanese incense sticks with a fresh fragrance composition centred around pine. The Morning Star series has been part of the Japanese incense manufacturer's range since the 1960s and is designed for easy, everyday incense burning.

The incense sticks are made in the Japanese style without a bamboo core. This means that no additional scent from a burning wooden stick is produced, allowing the fragrance composition itself to remain more prominent. They also produce less smoke than many incense sticks with a bamboo core.

Morning Star Pine fragrance

The Pine variant has a fresh, green and woody-aromatic fragrance reminiscent of the characteristic scent of pine. Its clear forest note differs distinctly from the floral, sweet or spicy variants of the Morning Star series and is particularly suitable for those who enjoy fresh, woody incense fragrances.

How to use and burn time

Light the tip of an incense stick and then carefully blow out the flame. The stick will continue to smoulder slowly and release its fragrance. The burn time is approximately 25 minutes per stick.

Morning Star Pine is available in packs of 50 or 200 incense sticks. Both sizes include a small ceramic holder, so the sticks can be used straight away.
