Namibian Myrrh Omumbiri Resin
Namibian Omumbiri Myrrh (Commiphora Wildii) is a remarkable resin.
It is one of the only myrrhs that originates from the south of the continent. Its Latin name "commiphora" places it in the myrrh group, but both its appearance and its fragrance make it more like a variety of frankincense. Some specialists even think that it could be a hybrid of the myrrh tree and the incense tree (Boswellia).
It has always been used by the Himbas tribes of Namibia.
