Natural Camphor
Camphor is mainly obtained by steam distillation of the wood chips of the Chinese camphor tree (boiled in water). This substance has always been highly prized in Japan, China and Taiwan, which was a major producer.
This is Chinese camphor, not to be confused with Borneo camphor or Borneol (Dryobalanops aromatica), which is widely used by Japanese incense producers.
Camphor is used in magical rituals to expel negative energies and promote clairvoyance.
It has a fresh, minty fragrance, reminiscent of eucalyptus.
Beware that there is also synthetic camphor, not easy to differentiate. Our product is 100% natural.
