Nippon Kodo N.K. No. 5 Blossom – 24 Japanese Incense Sticks

N.K. No. 5 Blossom by Nippon Kodo is a Japanese incense stick assortment featuring three different floral fragrances. The former N.K. Quality Incense collection was characterised by its modern, minimalist packaging design and varied fragrance compositions. Blossom brings together 24 incense sticks with the floral fragrances Rose, Violet and Plum Flower.

Three floral fragrances – rose, violet and plum blossom

The Blossom assortment offers three different interpretations of floral fragrances:

• Rose: A classic, soft rose fragrance with a floral and slightly sweet note.
• Violet: A delicate, subtly powdery floral note with a gentle, elegant character.
• Plum Flower – Plum Blossom: A light, fresh floral fragrance inspired by plum blossom, traditionally appreciated in Japan as one of the first signs of the approaching spring.

The three fragrances create a varied floral assortment, ranging from classic rose through powdery violet to fresh plum blossom. The fragrance names should not be understood as confirmation that particular natural flower extracts or botanical ingredients are present.

An earlier edition by Nippon Kodo

N.K. No. 5 Blossom belongs to the older N.K. Quality Incense collection by the Japanese manufacturer Nippon Kodo, which is no longer produced. The white and red box contains 8 incense sticks of each fragrance as well as a small black incense holder.

Blossom was also available in a version containing incense coils with the same three fragrances. However, the version offered here contains exclusively 24 incense sticks.
