Nippon Kodo Seiten – Low-Smoke Japanese Incense 200 g

Seiten (清天) by Nippon Kodo is an earlier Japanese incense edition with particularly low smoke production. The name Seiten can be understood as evoking a clear, pure and cloudless sky – an image that suits the understated character of this incense particularly well.

Nippon Kodo presented Seiten as a high-quality incense combining traditional Japanese incense culture with modern production methods. The fragrance is fresh, clear, subtle and elegant. The original packaging also emphasises that the refreshing fragrance unfolds particularly pleasantly thanks to the low smoke production.

Japanese incense sticks with very little smoke

Seiten belongs to the category of Japanese incense sticks without bamboo cores. Unlike incense varieties that produce more smoke, this version was specifically designed for very low smoke production. This allows the delicate fragrance character to remain at the forefront while the incense burns.

The precise composition of this earlier version was not specified. It is therefore not possible to reliably identify individual flowers, woods or other aromatic raw materials.

Earlier Seiten edition by Nippon Kodo

This version, made in Japan, bears Nippon Kodo product number 271 and belongs to an earlier generation of Seiten that is no longer found in the current range. Nippon Kodo continues to offer incense under the Seiten name, but the current version differs in its presentation and product information. It therefore cannot be assumed that the fragrance composition or formula is identical.

The packs offered here come from our remaining stock of this earlier edition and are available only while stocks last.
