Sesame oil from Ceven'Arômes is a plant-based care and massage oil obtained from the seeds of Sesamum indicum. Sesame is one of the oldest cultivated plants used for oil production. The oil is particularly suitable for caring for dry skin and combines its skin-softening properties with its suitability as a body and massage oil.

Sesame oil consists mainly of fatty acids, particularly oleic acid (Omega 9) and linoleic acid (Omega 6). It also naturally contains tocopherols, phytosterols and lignans characteristic of sesame, such as sesamin and sesamolin. As an emollient plant oil, it helps keep the skin soft and supple and maintain its natural moisture.

Traditional massage oil in India

Sesame and sesame oil have a long history closely associated with the Indian subcontinent. From there, cultivation of the plant also spread to other parts of Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
