Wild Rose Oil 50 ml – Ceven'Arômes

Wild rose oil from Ceven'Arômes is a plant-based care oil for cosmetic use. Wild rose oil is obtained from the seeds of the rose hips of various wild roses and is particularly popular for caring for dry and mature skin. It should not be confused with rose essential oil obtained from the flowers and does not have the typical floral scent of a rose.

The oil naturally contains various fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid (Omega 6) and alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3), as well as oleic acid. As a replenishing care oil, it helps keep the skin soft and supple and maintain its natural moisture.

Care for dry and mature skin

Wild rose oil is mainly used for facial care as well as for the neck, décolleté and dry areas of the body. Its emollient properties make it an interesting plant oil for skin that needs additional care or feels dry and lacking in suppleness.

A small amount can be applied directly to the skin and gently massaged in. The oil is therefore suitable both for targeted care of individual dry areas and as part of a personal face and body care routine.

Wild rose and rose hip

Wild rose oil is obtained from the seeds found inside the fruits of various wild roses, known as rose hips. Species used for oil production include Rosa rubiginosa and Rosa canina.

The word rose in the name should not be misleading: wild rose oil is a fatty plant oil, not a rose essential oil. Its cosmetic value lies not in a floral rose fragrance, but in its composition of natural fatty acids and its caring properties.

Storage

Due to its content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, wild rose oil is sensitive to oxidation. The bottle should therefore be kept tightly closed and protected from light and heat.
