Saryane Aleppo Soap with 12% laurel berry oil combines the nourishing properties of olive oil with a higher proportion of laurel berry oil. Traditionally crafted in Syria, it is suitable for daily skincare and is especially appreciated by those who prefer an Aleppo soap with a more pronounced laurel content.
The formula contains only olive oil, laurel berry oil, water and soda. It is completely free from synthetic fragrances, colourants and other unnecessary additives. During its long maturation period, the soap develops its characteristic beige to golden-brown exterior, while the inside retains its natural green colour.
Traditional craftsmanship in Syria
The soap is produced using a traditional method that has been passed down for centuries. Olive oil is first saponified with water and soda over several days. The laurel berry oil is added only at the end of the cooking process. The soap is then poured, cut by hand, stamped and left to dry and mature slowly for six to twelve months.
This extended maturation period gives the soap its firmness, long-lasting performance and pleasant feel during use.
12% laurel berry oil – balanced care with a higher laurel content
With 12% laurel berry oil, this Aleppo soap offers an ideal balance between the mildest varieties and the more highly concentrated Aleppo soaps. Traditionally, it is often chosen by those who prefer a higher proportion of laurel berry oil while still looking for a formula suitable for everyday use.
It is suitable for the daily cleansing of the face, hands and body. Traditionally, it is also frequently used for combination skin, oilier skin or as a solid shampoo for oily scalps. These applications are based on the traditional use of Aleppo soap and do not constitute medical claims.
How to use
The soap can be used daily on the face, hands and body. It is also suitable as a solid shampoo. After use, it is recommended to allow the soap to dry on a well-ventilated soap dish to help it last longer.
A fine whitish film may occasionally appear on the surface. This is a natural characteristic of traditionally made Aleppo soap and is not a sign of poor quality.
