Product description

Satya Bali Island of the Gods are Indian masala incense sticks produced by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (MUM) LLP. This fragrance is inspired by the Indonesian island of Bali, renowned for its Hindu temples, elaborate offerings and lush tropical gardens. Floral, green and warm resinous notes blend into an exotic composition that evokes the fragrant atmosphere of Balinese temple complexes and flowering gardens.

Fragrance profile – tropical flowers and warm resinous notes

The fragrance opens with gentle citrus notes and a subtle green freshness. This light, natural impression introduces a distinctly floral heart, where various tropical floral nuances gradually unfold.

Particularly characteristic is a floral accord reminiscent of frangipani, which lends the fragrance a soft, exotic and slightly sweet quality. A delicate geranium nuance complements the floral composition with a fresh, aromatic accent.

In the background, warm resinous tones develop, accompanied by gentle woody notes and a hint of vanilla. This base gives the fragrance a pleasant depth and rounds off the richness of the tropical flowers. The overall impression is a floral, exotic and enveloping incense fragrance that harmoniously combines fresh and warm elements.

Bali – the Island of the Gods as fragrance inspiration

Bali is often referred to as the "Island of the Gods". This nickname reflects the particular importance of Balinese Hinduism, which shapes the island's religious and cultural life. Temples, daily offerings and religious ceremonies are part of everyday life in many places.

Among the best-known traditions are the small, carefully arranged offerings known as Canang Sari. These often contain flowers, leaves and other symbolic gifts and are placed in front of temples, house entrances and shrines. Incense also plays a role in various Balinese ceremonies.

With Bali Island of the Gods, Satya draws inspiration from this atmosphere of flowers, tropical vegetation and incense traditions. The composition is a modern Indian interpretation of these impressions rather than a traditional Balinese incense recipe.

Indian masala incense sticks by Satya MUM

These incense sticks are manufactured in India by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (MUM) LLP and are available in a pack containing 15 g net weight. The floral, resinous and woody notes described above characterise the fragrance and do not constitute a complete list of the ingredients used.

To use, place an incense stick in a suitable holder, light the tip and then blow out the flame. The stick will continue to smoulder slowly, releasing its fragrance into the room. Always use on a fireproof surface, under supervision and with adequate ventilation.
