Product description

Satya Copal by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (BNG) LLP is a hand-rolled Indian masala incense from Bengaluru with a resinous, sweet and slightly citrusy fragrance. The composition is inspired by the fragrance character of copal, combining a warm resinous note with a brighter, fresher side.

Resinous, sweet and slightly citrusy

When burned, Satya Copal develops a warm, aromatic resinous fragrance, accompanied by sweet and slightly citrusy nuances. This gives the composition a character that is both full-bodied and comparatively bright. The soft masala character rounds out the resinous fragrance and clearly distinguishes these incense sticks from burning pure copal resin directly.

The name Copal primarily describes the fragrance of this incense. Copal is also not a single botanically defined resin, but rather a collective term for various natural resins. The exact formula of Satya Copal is not disclosed; the product name alone therefore does not indicate whether natural copal resin is used in the blend or, if so, which type.

Hand-rolled masala incense from Bengaluru

Satya Copal is made by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (BNG) LLP in Bengaluru, India. The incense sticks are hand-rolled onto bamboo sticks according to the Indian masala tradition.

Each pack contains 15 g, usually around 12 incense sticks. As the packs are filled by weight, the actual number of sticks may vary slightly.
