Product description

Satya Marrakech Gate of Spices are Indian masala incense sticks produced by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (MUM) LLP. This fragrance belongs to a collection inspired by famous destinations around the world. Marrakech, one of Morocco's historic imperial cities, evokes colourful souks, oriental spices and the distinctive atmosphere of its historic medina. These impressions are reflected in a warm, spicy and balsamic fragrance composition that combines fruity accents with resinous and woody notes.

Fragrance profile – oriental spices and warm resinous notes

The fragrance opens with a fruity orange note accompanied by a delicate spiciness. A subtle fresh nuance brings liveliness to the opening and provides a pleasant contrast to the warmer fragrance notes that subsequently unfold.

At its heart, a complex accord develops, combining gentle oriental spice notes with a balsamic sweetness reminiscent of benzoin resin. The spicy facets are rounded and harmonious, while the resinous nuances lend the fragrance a soft, slightly sweet depth.

As the fragrance develops further, warm woody notes, amber-like resinous nuances and a gentle balsamic accent come to the fore. These blend with the lingering spices to create a rich, enveloping fragrance. The overall impression is an intense, oriental and spicy incense fragrance, characterised by its combination of fruity freshness, sweet resinous notes and warm woody undertones.

Marrakech – the city of souks and spices

Marrakech is one of Morocco's four historic imperial cities and was an important trading centre for centuries. Located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, the city is particularly renowned for its extensive medina, with its winding alleyways, traditional craft workshops and bustling markets.

Spices, aromatic substances, herbs and numerous other goods have long been traded in the souks of Marrakech. Among the characteristic sights and scents of these markets are the colourful spice stalls, where cinnamon, cumin, ginger and various spice blends are offered for sale.

The fragrance creation Marrakech Gate of Spices draws inspiration from this atmosphere. It combines the impression of oriental spice markets with warm resinous and woody notes. It is a modern Indian interpretation of these fragrances rather than a traditional Moroccan incense recipe.

These incense sticks are manufactured in India by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (MUM) LLP and are available in a pack containing 15 g net weight. Within the fragrance collection inspired by different travel destinations, Marrakech stands out for its particularly spicy, resinous and oriental character.

The orange, spice, benzoin and woody notes described above refer to the fragrance profile of the composition. They do not constitute a complete list of the ingredients used.

To use, place an incense stick in a suitable holder, light the tip and then blow out the flame. The stick will continue to smoulder slowly, releasing its fragrance into the room. Always use on a fireproof surface, under supervision and with adequate ventilation.
