Product description

Satya Nag Champa Backflow Dhoop Cones by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (BNG) are specially shaped incense cones designed for backflow incense burners. The pack contains 24 cones with a fragrance composition based on the well-known Satya Nag Champa.

Backflow cones with downward-flowing smoke

Unlike ordinary incense cones, backflow cones have a continuous hollow channel. When used with a purpose-designed backflow incense burner, the smoke is directed downwards, creating the characteristic effect of a slowly cascading stream of smoke.

Their special construction requires an incense mixture adapted from that used for classic incense sticks. For this reason, it is important to note that the fragrance of this variety is not completely identical to classic Satya Nag Champa incense sticks. The typical warm, floral and slightly spicy Nag Champa fragrance remains recognisable, but is expressed somewhat differently due to the specific manufacturing process used for backflow cones.

Satya BNG from Bangalore

The Nag Champa Backflow incense cones are produced by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (BNG) LLP in Bangalore, India. They combine the well-known Nag Champa fragrance with the distinctive smoke effect of a backflow incense burner.

How to use

Light the tip of the cone and allow it to burn briefly. Then blow out the flame and place the cone on a suitable backflow incense burner, ensuring that the opening at the bottom of the cone is aligned with the burner's smoke channel. After a short while, the smoke will begin to flow down through the cone. Use only on a heat-resistant surface and never leave smouldering incense cones unattended.
