Shoyeido Overtones Tea Leaves Incense Sticks – 35 Sticks

Shoyeido Overtones Tea Leaves is a Japanese incense that places the fresh, aromatic character of tea leaves at the heart of its composition. Within the Overtones range, Shoyeido interprets selected aromatic materials in a clear, finely balanced form, giving each variety its own distinctly recognisable fragrance identity.

The composition combines tea leaves with sandalwood and benzoin. Unlike the warmer and more intensely spicy fragrances in the range, Tea Leaves has a fresher, lighter character. The green, aromatic note of the tea leaves meets the soft woodiness of sandalwood and the gentle balsamic sweetness of benzoin. The result is a balanced fragrance with fresh, botanical and subtly warm nuances.

Tea Leaves in the Overtones Range

With Tea Leaves, Shoyeido brings an aromatic plant particularly familiar in Japan to the forefront. This variety is part of the Overtones range alongside Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Frankincense, Palo Santo and Patchouli. While each composition highlights a different principal note, the range is united by a refined and accessible Japanese incense style.

According to Shoyeido, the Overtones Tea Leaves formula is one of the house's older compositions. The incense sticks are made in Japan without synthetic fragrance oils, synthetic binders or artificial fragrances.

Each pack contains 35 incense sticks measuring 22 cm in length. The burning time is approximately 50 minutes per stick.
