Amber Soapstone Incense Bowl 10 cm

This soapstone incense bowl is made in India and is particularly suitable for traditional incense burning with charcoal. The stone has a warm amber-coloured surface with natural variations in tone, giving each bowl its own individual character.

With a diameter of approximately 10 cm and a height of 3.5 cm, the bowl provides enough space for incense sand and a charcoal tablet. It can be used for burning natural resins such as frankincense, myrrh or copal, as well as aromatic plants, fragrant woods and incense blends.

Burning incense with charcoal

First fill the bowl with a sufficient layer of fine incense sand. Light a charcoal tablet and place it on the sand. Once the charcoal is fully glowing and has reached the desired temperature, small amounts of resin, plants or aromatic woods can be placed on top.

After burning incense, allow the charcoal to burn out completely and cool down. The ash should only be disposed of once it has completely cooled.
